Minnesota natives Marisa and Jarrell had a chance meeting in a parking lot in Atlanta after Marisa noticed his license plates. Marisa wasted no time in letting Jarrell know that she was looking for something real. They are sharing their journey from parking lot pimpin’ to putting a ring on it; meshing opposite personalities, learning to live in the grey area, and the growing pains of a new marriage.

Marisa grew up in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota and attended Spelman College in Atlanta, where she currently lives. She is an interior designer and the creator of i-designbox.com. When she’s not creating fabulous interiors, she’s jet setting and seeking new adventures with her husband Jarrell.
Jarrell is from St. Paul, Minnesota. He’s a car enthusiast and loves fixing cars as an automotive technician for Mercedes-Benz.
